One of my clients, let's call him Mike, has a particularly enquiring mind. He hired me to improve his running and general conditioning. That was going well. But our sessions together, which took place in a park, often left me feeling as though we hadn't done enough work.Mike's thirst for knowledge about training, running, the human body, getting leaner, getting stronger and anything else, meant that we spent large chunks of our session together just talking.Or, rather I spent lots of time answering his excellent questions, one after the other. And we invariably got cold from standing in the chilly wind or drizzle.
I joked that we should spend our sessions indoors.
We never did, but it gave me an idea - to run sessions like workshops, based around getting leaner and fitter. Mainly talking, some action too. And no wind or drizzle. Welcome to Bust a Gut.
